Meet The Founder Who Put Communication First

|

Before founding our firm in December 2007, our founder built a career in IT, pursued legal studies at SMU, and became a patent attorney. That path brought a practical perspective to immigration law—one shaped by both professional work and personal experience navigating the immigration process.

Meet the founder whose experience continues to shape how we work with clients today.

Built on a Simple Frustration With How Law Firms Communicate

Our founder knew firsthand how frustrating it is when an attorney’s office leaves questions unanswered. That experience defined a straightforward goal: make the process easier to follow and keep clients informed at every step.

The decision to build a firm came from confidence in doing things differently. As our founder put it, “I can do a lot of things better my way.” At Akula & Associates P.C., that means pairing legal guidance with systems that give clients secure access and real-time updates on their cases.

Immigration Guidance That Fits the Complexity of the Goal

Immigration needs vary widely—individuals, families, small businesses, and multinational corporations each come to us with different objectives and timelines. Our attorneys work collaboratively to develop guidance tailored to the matter at hand, without sacrificing the personal attention that gets lost in larger practices.

Technology keeps matters organized and communication accessible, but it doesn’t replace the human side of the work. We support clients in Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Thai, Lao, Hausa, Russian, and Armenian, so the process feels less foreign from the start. Our team collectively brings more than 30 years of global and industry-specific immigration law experience, and we approach every client relationship with transparency, ethical practice, and careful attention to the details that matter most.

Immigration questions deserve clear answers and a team that takes the time to understand the goal behind the paperwork. To speak with us, contact Akula & Associates P.C. at (844) 299-5003.
