Administrative Assistant:
Akula & Associates, P.C. is a full-service immigration law firm located in North Dallas. We are passionate about immigration law and are seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to assist with high-volume case processing, scanning, filing, client notification and internal staff support. Additionally, this position will require management of legal documentation, sending and processing electronic communications and mail. We emphasize a collegial, team-oriented environment in which our staff are consistently assisting us in identifying ways to offer better services to our clients and improve internal processes. Responsibilities include:
- Communicating effectively with co-workers and clients at all levels
- Performing administrative duties (filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing) in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner
- Identifying challenges and soliciting assistance for resolution
- Completing word processing tasks
- Creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Completing projects, as requested, as assigned
- Communicating professionally, in a clear and concise manner
- Working independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma /GED equivalent or higher
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to operate a PC with strong working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office and Excel data entry
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments while working with moderate guidance

Job Duties:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of family-based and employment-based immigration applications and petitions (for U.S. work visas and permanent residency) with government agencies.
- Draft supporting letters and forms, manage client communications, and interact with government officials to move cases forward.
- Perform legal research as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in the legal field working in business and/or family immigration.

Immigration Attorney:
Akula & Associates, P.C. is a full-service immigration law firm located in North Dallas. We are passionate about immigration law, and we are seeking to hire a full-time Staff Attorney. The candidate will perform client intake of cases, troubleshoot and establish case strategy, draft and file petitions/applications, and be able to communicate with and manage client case processing for a diverse client base. In addition, this position requires updating and managing case status reports. This candidate should be ready to help us navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration process for the benefit of our clients.
