Overview

Prior to joining Akula & Associates, P.C., Ms. Salomon has aggressively represented clients since 1995 with various law firms and through her own practice. Ms. Salomon's practice focus is in litigation. She has also served as the Director of Investigations for the City of Boston Office of Civil Rights.

Commercial: Selina Salomon practices complex commercial litigation, including contracts, licensing, easements, zoning, regulatory compliance, franchise agreements, and commercial leases. She has represented clients in commercial, DTPA, and collection litigation.

Employment Law: Practice includes contract enforcement, non-compete and severance agreements, wrongful termination, discrimination, disability accommodations, unemployment insurance appeals, and regulatory compliance. Ms. Salomon has represented clients in judicial proceedings and administrative hearings before the Transportation Security Administration, Allied Pilots Union, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Professional Licensing Boards, Independent School Boards, and the Texas Workforce Commission.

Family Law: Ms. Salomon’s extensive family law practice includes divorce, custody, visitation, support modification, enforcement, paternity, and representation in CPS proceedings. She has drafted complex prenuptial and marital settlement agreements.

Personal Injury/Insurance: Ms. Salomon has represented plaintiffs and defendants in jury and bench trials, arbitration and mediation involving coverage, vehicle and premises liability.
